When I think of burgeon, I think of blooming and wild spring days ready to pop with flowers, like fireworks shooting across rolling meadows and waves of hills. Classically, burgeon just means to begin to grow or increase rapidly. This piece was meant to represent all those flowers of Spring in one, big blossom. I wanted it to emulate the new beginning I was starting at the time. I was full of hope and dreams, ready
