This is 822g worth of Sterling Silver. This has London Hallmarks for 1786 and "HB" for Hester Bateman. This is a circular claw footed salver, not oval. The pictures were shot a a slight angle to show the feet. Hester Bateman (bap. 1708 16 September 1794) was an English silversmith, renowned for her high quality flatware and ornamental silverware.
