She studied graphic design at the Universidad de Monterrey, where she lived before moving to Austin in 2019. Karmita originally started as a hobby thanks to the pandemic, but it has now become her full time project. Coming from such a colorful and vibrant country like Mexico has had a strong influence on her art; the use of
